A Girl, A Guy & A Ghost - Patricia Mason

Curvy redhead Giselle Hunter, parapsychology reporter, has a crisis. Finding a ghost within three days is the only way to save her job. Not easy, especially with no psychic talent. A trip to Savannah Georgia—voted the most haunted city in America—seems ideal. But while Giselle encounters a discrimination-obsessed vampire, a nudist wizard, a not-so-psychic medium and a host of other kooks, there’s not a ghost in sight.

Then there’s scrumptiously sexy, private investigator Ry Leland. With his buff body and bitable lips, Ry ignites her passion. He’s an enormous distraction. Distracting her in a bed, in a closet, on the kitchen table, in a car… But despite the explosion of their mutual lust at first sight, Ry is unwilling to help with what he calls a cockamamie investigation. Unwilling, that is, until an attempt on her life makes it clear someone wants to stop Giselle from finding a ghost…and turn her into one.

Hauntingly Real - Patricia Mason
(Coming soon!)

It still isn’t easy hunting ghosts for journalist Giselle Hunter who find a ghost to save her job–again. However, this time she must also get rid of a ghost to save her life. The novel is the second in the series that commenced with “A Girl, A Guy & A Ghost”. Through no fault of her own, Giselle’s most recent article claimed a phony ghost was real. Now a celebrated debunker of the paranormal will put the magazine out of business and Giselle in the poor house if she doesn’t join the cast of a reality television show filming for the weekend in Savannah and prove a ghost. The reality show is the brainchild of Producer Devin Trafalgar, who looks like an angelic Adonis but behaves like a chauvinistic misogynist. Also included in the filming of ‘Hauntingly Real’ are: (1) the BOO BABES (“Boo Y’all”), southern beauty Queens who love to drink, shop, and oh yeah, hunt for ghosts; (2) ARMAND KOPELESKI, the wizard with a predilection for nudism from GGG who hates Giselle with renewed passion; (3) VECTOR the French painter from GGG who looks like a skunk and is convinced that Giselle’s presence at the B&B, where he now works as a desk clerk, is a sign that she is pursuing him romantically; and (4) Trafalgar’s girlfriend AMI MORE, a former fetish film actress now trying to break into television as presenter of HR. (5) Trafalgar’s body guard VLADIMIR, a giant thug who doesn’t speak English, but parrots vulgar phrases taught him phonetically by Trafalgar, and (6) the spirit of ZACHARY GORDON, a devastatingly attractive ghost who believes Giselle is the reincarnation of his fiancé. It isn’t all fun and games on location when there are attempts made on Giselle’s life. Giselle must find a ghost, evade death, and avoid falling in love during one weekend in Savannah.

In Deep Shitake - Patricia Mason
(Coming soon)

It’s a good thing that thirty-year old Imogene (call her ‘MO’) TUTTLE isn’t wearing a thong, but it’s bad enough that she’s wearing lacy black panties, because she’s stuck in a car sunroof and it’s not her head that’s protruding out the top when she meets the man of her teenage fantasies, ROSS GRANT.

Private investigator, Mo has sworn off swearing and men, particularly handsome ones like her suave womanizing father. She is committed to making partner at ‘Incredible Love’ an agency specializing in exposing the cheating bastards and bastettes of Savannah, GA. So Mo is irresistibly drawn to Ross but at the same time repelled.

Ross, a forty-five year old actor, is in town preparing for the film that will make everyone forget the sexy super spy character that made him famous and put him back on the top of Hollywood’s power pyramid. He’s determined to thwart any potential scandalous publicity that might panic the studio suits into pulling the funding for the film. He certainly doesn’t want to become involved with a woman who seems to have a particular talent for getting him into embarrassing situations even if he does find her incredibly funny and sexy.

When Mo and Ross are entangled together in inexplicable happenings that at first appear to involve mistaken identity that threatens their lives they are both in deep shitake. As they encounter Russian mobsters, overly avid (or is that rabid) fans, cross-dressing businessmen, a cat woman in the midst of a species conversion, and a nerdy reporter out to sell a salacious story to the tabloids, Mo and Ross try to solve the mystery without losing their lives, their careers or their hearts. The first and second are doable. The third, no way.

Sacrifice in Stone - Patricia Mason

In 1758 Britain, a blood curse imprisons soldier Garrick Lawson in the form of a marble statue as a sacrifice to bring prosperity to the Rushworth family. Fighting madness inside his stone prison, Garrick awaits a release that may never come. Over two centuries later, he hears a voice that makes him hunger for love as well as freedom.

Mara, the Rushworth heiress, feels irresistibly drawn to the statue. She dreams of hungry kisses in the arms of a soldier with eyes the color of melting chocolate. When Mara discovers an antique journal, revealing her family’s crime, she knows the man of her dreams awaits and she must risk the wrath of her devious uncle to free him. Using her blood, Mara brings Garrick to life and awakens his desire to claim her as his woman. But even as fiery passion burns between the lovers, the journal reveals that Garrick’s freedom has a price…Mara’s life.

Coming March 23, 2010 -  Ellora's Cave.
